TEDxNHH 2011 – 28th of September 2011, 10.00-16.00

This year, TEDxNHH focuses on Embracing Others, reflecting the diversity of our attendees, speakers, organizers and ideas to be encompassed during the span of the Event. In our groundbreaking program with speakers coming from all over the World, we aim to share knowledge, build new connections with inspiring people, and become more open-minded to exceptional ideas engendered by ingenious minds. In tune with our “Have you met Ted?” campaign, we cannot wait to welcome You to our conference and introduce Ted “in person” – provide TED-like experience to all. The marvelous day promises you inciting talks from speakers full of energy, excitement and alacrity to inspire, startle and astound! Have you ever been thrilled with mind-bending designs? Are you passionate about entertainment, travelling or sustainable development? Are you thinking about starting your own business in intention to change or save the world? Then, learn more about it!

TEDxNHH organizers arrange entertainment during the breaks to keep you excited even when the speaker is not on stage! Indeed, we are starting right now with introducing five “Embracing Rules” that will be announced during the event:

• Have at least 5 handshakes with people you meet during the break
• Introduce a friend to 5 people in the form: “Hi, have you met ?”
• Exchange 5 hugs with people from different countries
• Get to know people sitting next to you
• Ask 5 people what inspires them

Conformable to the theme of this year’s conference we intend to break the ice between all the attendees should it be there, build closer knits and to immerse oneself into the ocean of diverse attitudes. And who knows, maybe a like-minded person sharing your idea today, will become a life-lasting partner tomorrow?
